Vision Statement
At First Steps Preschool we envision a nurturing and vibrant learning environment where every child flourishes. Our goal is to foster a love of learning through play, creativity, and exploration, empowering each child to discover their unique strengths and abilities. We believe in cultivating a strong sense of community, collaboration, and inclusivity, ensuring that families feel supported and engaged in their child’s educational journey. By prioritizing holistic development and instilling values of curiosity, empathy, and resilience, we aspire to prepare our children for a bright future filled with endless possibilities. Together, we will inspire the next generation of thinkers, dreamers, and leaders.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy as teachers and caregivers of your child is to provide them with the best possible care and learning experiences. Our commitment is to form lifelong learning experiences that allow every child to become independent, self-confident, and inquisitive learners.
Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self and teacher-facilitated activities. Opportunities for solitary play as well as group activities are provided. Our teachers serve as positive role models and provide supportive, nurturing, warm, and responsive care to each child's needs.

We start children as young as one year-old, providing them with the tools and resources to explore science and technology. Understanding that early exposure to specific learning areas can help children become more confident, curious, and successful students in the long run.
